For the past years, research studies had been only done in higher education
or tertiary level as basic or for final requirements. However, as time passes,
educators have discovered its enormous impacts to address problems in school
setting as well as in the society. Thus, the Department of Education took action to
implement it in the new curriculum to let educators and learners identify problems
and develop solutions on its own. By doing so, new intervention, innovation and
development in the existing education practices may lead to more contextualized,
