Education
This module was written and developed to help you to understand the concept of Physical
Education 1; 1. Introduction of PE 1, 2. Locomotor, 3. Non-Locomotor 4. Basic Nutrition 5.
Lower Body Exercises 6. Core Body Exercises 7. Exercise routine at home during the
Pandemic.
LEARNING OUTCOMES – at the end of the term, the student will be able to:
1. Perform wellness activities with the knowledge and skills in improving their lifestyle with
the right choice in selecting their prepared type of nutrition and exercise.
2. The learners lead fitness events with proficiency and confidence resulting in independent
pursuit and influencing others positively.
3. Analyzes physiological indicators such as heart rate, rate of perceived exertion and
pacing associated with MVPA’s to monitor and/ or adjust participation or effort.
4. Engages in moderate to vigorous physical activities (MVPA” s) for at least 60 minutes
most days of the week in variety of settings in-and-out-of-school.
After going through this module, you are expected to:
1. Use/Apply the FITT principle in aerobics/exercise to achieve and maintain the Health-
Related Fitness (HRF) components.
2. Design and apply a Plan That Fits the Needs using FITT Principle while engaging into
MVPA’s.
3. Explain the importance of heart rate in engaging to MVPA’s.
