Creating a Single Job

If you configure a speech double ended test (call, video call, WhatsApp call and What-
sApp video call) on a FR Master, a linking icon is displayed between columns 1 and 2
(and between columns 3 and 4, 5 and 6) if these adjacent columns represent A- and B-
sides:

Figure 3-8: Configuring a speech double ended test

If the linking icon is selected (displayed in red), Freerider III starts the test immediately
without configuration call:
● If the FR Slave are not in the desired columns, simply reassign them.
● The FR Master does not check that the timings (in the linked columns) are the
same. We recommend creating the A-side job first, and then to copy/paste it to the
B-side column, changing both the side and the phone number.
● If forcing is set on one or both sides, the forcing must have a fixed duration.
Uncheck "External B unit" in the job, otherwise a full configuration call is execu-
ted.
Important:
You cannot leave and join again a campaign—respectively by using "Leave campaign"
and "Join campaign"—executing a speech double ended test without configuration call,
i.e., if the linking icon is selected (displayed in red): if you do so, Freerider III does
not generate the B-side file.

3.1 Creating a Single Job

For a description of the types of jobs that you can configure, see the
Manual - QualiPoc Handheld.pdf document.

To run a single job on a single FR Slave, create a campaign with only one job and one
assigned FR Slave.

2. In the "Select job type" list, touch a category, for example, "Single Call Tests", and
then touch a job, for example, "Call to any Number":

Forcing settings
You can also specify advanced forcing settings
such as "Channel", "Cell lock", and so on. The
settings that are available depend on the device
that you are using. For more information, see
Chapter 3.1.1, "Advanced Forcing", on page 15.

3.1.1 Advanced Forcing

You can use advanced forcing as Job forcing in a measurement. You can copy and
paste forcing settings from one FR Slave to another as well as from one job to another
job.

Figure 3-13: Copy forcing settings

When you apply the advanced forcing settings, QualiPoc may reboot the affected FR
Slaves, depending on the device and the forcing type.

3.1.2 Sync Action

By adding a "Sync" action to a FR Slave job, you mix speech double ended tests with
other tests and you synchronize the different tests between the involved FR Slaves.
When a "Sync" action is present, all FR Slaves wait for the others to reach the same
sync in the sequence, e.g., "Sync #2", before proceeding with the next test.

Validations and limitations

● Define the same number of "Sync" actions for all FR Slaves having "Sync" actions.
● In a campaign, the first speech double-ended test determines if it is an A- or a B-
Side.
● If you mix speech double-ended tests with other tests, you cannot exchange the A-
Side FR Slave for the B-Side FR Slave.
● You can only add tests to a speech double ended test, i.e., "+" icon is available,
once you add a "Sync" action.
● If campaigns use distinct FR Slave, you can start more than one synchronized
campaign.
● If a FR Slave using a "Sync" action disconnects, the campaign waits for it to recon-
nect; there is no available timeout.
● By using "Leave campaign" option (from the campaign settings), you can remove
an unresponsive FR Slave.
● If you remove and add a FR Slave having "Sync" actions, by using respectively
"Leave campaign" and "Join campaign", the other slaves no longer wait for it.
● The Freerider III system cannot manage the campaign anymore if the FR Master
crashes; if this occurs, stop the campaign manually on each FR Slave.
● If two adjacent columns (1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6) have speech double ended
tests with different sides defined (A- and B-Side), the linking option to avoid config-
uration call is automatically set and cannot be disabled.
Important:
You cannot leave and join again a campaign—respectively by using "Leave campaign"
and "Join campaign"—executing a speech double ended test without configuration call,
i.e., if the linking icon is selected (displayed in red): if you do so, Freerider III does
not generate the B-side file.
