Pre-Test 1 BFC10403 Mekanik Bendalir

This 3-page document contains a pre-test for a Fluid Mechanics course taken at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. The pre-test has two questions worth 25 marks each, for a total of 50 marks. Question 1 has three parts asking students to (a) derive dimensional representations of fluid properties, (b) determine density, weight density, and specific gravity of oil, and (c) calculate pressure at a point in a water flow system. Question 2 has three parts asking students to (a) define different types of pressure, (b) calculate absolute pressure at a given depth in a freshwater lake, and (c) determine the mass of a floating circular pontoon. Diagrams are provided
