Activity 1: Central Luzon


I. Direction: Identify what is being asked to complete the chart about Central
Luzon.

Provinces AURORA, BATAAN, BULACAN, NUEVA ECIJA, PAMPANGA,


TARLAC, AND ZAMBALES

Cities Balanga in Bataan; Malolos, Meycauayan and San Jose del Monte in
Bulacan; Cabanatuan, Gapan, Muñoz, Palayan and San Jose in Nueva
Ecija; Angeles, Mabalacat and San Fernando in Pampanga; Tarlac in
Tarlac; and Olongapo in Zambales

Dialects Kapam- pangan, Sinauna, the three major dialects of Sambal,


and the Ayta languages spoken in and around the Zambales
Mountains in Zambales, Pampanga, and Bataan provinces.

Tourist Spots Manila bay, Holy Rosary Church & Museo Ning Angeles,
Subic Bay, wreck diving & theme parks, Subic Bay

Famous Cuisines Beef Dish, BIstek Tagalog, Dessert Inipit, Stew. Ox Tail

II. Direction: Give three (3) famous or unique traditions or cultures in Central
Luzon. Explain it how it is done or celebrated.
Sinukwan Festival – Aring Sinukwan (King Sinukwan) is a god of
the ancient Kapampangans. The celebration participated by
Traditions & representatives of different towns of Pampanga. Street dancing is

Caragan Festival – Caragan is the name of the first chieftain of the

Philippine Hot Air Balloon Festival – held annually in Omni
Aviation Complex inside Clark Freeport Zone. It features
multicolored hot air balloons from around the globe, it is the
biggest aviation sports event in the Philippines
