LESSON 9: Creating Forms Using Microsoft Access (Modifying Form Layout)

I. INTRODUCTION
This lesson focused on modifying and formatting forms. It discusses the steps in
resizing, and moving form components. Splitting and merging cells are presented. Modifying the
colors and fonts of the form is also introduced.

II. OBJECTIVES
a. determine ways to modify or format a form
b. modify the look of a form using specific requirements
c. write a blog to discuss the effect of a form with professional look and that is easy to
use

C. MERGE CELLS

1. Open the Access form containing the two fields you want to merge.
2. Home > View > Layout View
3. Click the first of the two fields you want to merge.

4. Press and hold the ctrl key, then click the second of the two fields.
