Admission Process: 2021-22
Preliminary Information
This note has been provided to outline the online admission application process.
Filling the form online no way guarantees admission to the applicant. This is only a registration process
and not a confirmation of admission.
Students need to ensure that the forms are filed with correct and accurate information.
All compulsory and optional/additional documents should be scanned and uploaded in PDF format only.
Forms without all the required documents attached will not be considered for evaluation.
Only complete forms submitted on or before the due date and time will be considered for evaluation for
the purpose of admission.
Merit lists will be compiled from time to time to indicate the list of considered applicants and will be
displayed on the college’s website.
Only students appearing on the merit list will be further considered for admissions.
Admissions will be granted on review of applications filed online, based on merit and verification of
documents submitted.
Verification of documents will be undertaken only after the declaration of the merit list. On scrutiny, if
there is any discrepancy in the documents, the college can cancel the admission of the said students.
If the scanned documents are valid as per the specifications, the link for online payment of fees would be
provided through SMS or Email as per the contact details provided at the time of filing up the form.
To confirm your willingness to take up admission, you will have to make the online payment on the link
provided within the time frame stipulated. You should confirm your admission within the stipulated time
only. No complaints will be entertained after the lapse of the time indicated.

In case your payment is not received within the stipulated time frame, it will be assumed that you are not
interested, and the seat will be re-allotted to someone else.
Details for the physical submission of original documents would be provided through SMS or email as per
the contact details provided at the time of submitting the form online.
All commencement and submission dates will be updated on the college’s website from time to time. You
are required to check back on the website regularly to keep yourself informed.
Signup for Online Admission
Go to the college’s website at www.avc.ac.in and click on the online admission link.
You will see the following screen.
If you are starting the online admission form submission process for the first time, then you need to sign
up. For this click on the Sign-up option.
You will be prompted for the email ID you want to register with and your mobile number.
These details will be used to set up your account for online admission, and you will not be able to change
the details later. Please check and confirm before submitting the details.
Once the details are submitted, you will receive a password by email and SMS.
Please record the password and keep it safe, as you will need it to log in to complete the admission form.

note that only PDF files will be accepted by the system.

Note: - The verification of scanned documents will be done only after the declaration of the merit list. If
the scanned documents are valid as per the specifications, the link for online payment of fees and
finalization of admission would be provided through SMS or email on the registered contact details
provided.
Once you are ready with the scanned copies of all relevant documents, you are ready to fill up the
admission form online. The process is as follows.

Login for filling the Online Admission Form
Click on the admissions link and go to the same login page.
Once you have your password you can log in to fill up your form online. You can log in using your email ID
to identify yourself or your mobile number. The selection can be made by selecting either option at the
bottom of the login dialogue box.
If you selected Login with Email ID, please enter your email ID and password to log in, else enter your
mobile number and password to log in.
In case you have forgotten your password you can use the “Forgot Password” option to get your password.

You will receive your password in your email account.
Once you have entered the correct password, click on Login to start entering your details on the admission
form.
You should now see the following welcome screen:
Filing the Online Admission Form
At the bottom of the Welcome Screen, you will see 4 options you can select. To continue filling up the
form select “Continue”.
First, you will be prompted to select the year to which you are seeking admission:-

Select the year for which you are seeking admission.
Next, you will be prompted for the stream you are seeking admission to.
Select the stream for which you are seeking admission. Once you have done that, it will show you the
selection you have made and prompt you to “Apply Now”. If you have already filled up a form earlier it
will show that particular form in a list.

The online form is divided into multiple sections to collect related information together and allow you to
compile individual sections at one time.
As you enter details in each section, the data for each will be automatically saved as you click on next and
move to the next section.
You can pick up from where you left off by logging in at a later time.
The online form is divided into the following sections: -
Admission Sought Section:
This section allows you to select the year for which you are seeking admission and the stream for which
you are seeking admission.
Also mention if you are a student at the same college and seeking admission to the next class.
In case you are a student at the same college, please provide your student number.
Click “Next” if you wish to proceed or click on “Save” if you want to save and continue later.
Personal Information Section:
Provide your personal information in this section as required.

In the personal information section, you need to upload your photograph. Note that this photo needs to
be scanned and the file size should be less than 100kb. To reduce the file size you can scan in a lower
resolution or use an online service such as https://www.reduceimages.com/
Address Details Section
Please provide the correct contact details. This must match with the address proof document provided by
you.
In case your correspondence address and permanent address is the same you can select “Copy ( Same as
Above)”
Contact Details Section:
Provide correct contact details as follows:-

Reservation Section:
Select the special category under which you are seeking admission.
Please remember that in case you select any special reservation category you will have to substantiate
the same with certificates to prove your status.
Subject Selection Section:
Based on the stream selected by you, the list of compulsory and optional subjects will be displayed in this
section.
Please select your choice of subjects or group of subjects on the right-hand side.

Guardian Details Selection Section:
Please provide all required details about your guardian.
Previous Education Section:
Provide details of previous education in the table provided.
Do mention in case there is a gap in your studies and the number of attempts taken to clear the particular
exam.
Document Upload Section:
Based on the choices in the previous section, you will be required to upload scanned copies of various
documents.

Please make sure the files are scanned and saved in PDF file format. No other format will be accepted for
upload.
Make sure that you upload optional documents to substantiate any special status that you have opted
for.
Once all the documents are uploaded, you have to validate the form and enter details in “Place” and
upload the scanned signature of the candidate and guardian.
Note that the size of the signature files cannot exceed 100kb each. To reduce the size you may use the
same process outlined above for photographs.
Once validation is complete you can click on “Save” or “Submit the form”.
Declaration Section:
Please read the declaration carefully and select the checkbox to indicate your acceptance.

At this stage, you have the following 3 options.
1. Edit – Use this if you want to change something that you have filled up.
2. View Form - To see the form you have filled up.
3. Submit – To finally submit the form.
Note that once the form is submitted you will not be allowed to make any changes .
Please note that the form will not be taken for consideration untill the form is submitted.
Submit must be clicked before the last date of submission of the form for it to be considered.
