(equals a room temperature of 25 ºC and a relative humidity of
90% as well as an outdoor temperature of 35 ºC
and a relative humidity of 70%)

Retractable seal Sill seal

The sealing profile is pressed automatically against the floor or Without seal

engages with a sill as the door is closed. Door seals can be

distinguished between retractable seals and sill seals. Sill seals
are always used in combination with a threshold, it is, however,
recommended to use retractable seals also in combination with a
threshold in case of carpet fitted floors or butt joints.

Retractable door seals are available with single-side or double-side

release mechanism. Seals with single-side release are released on

the hinge side or on the lock side, depending on the model.
Double-side release always means release on the hinge and on
the lock side. With double-side release seals, the sealing profile is
raised and lowered without dragging along the floor, which
prolongs its service life considerably.
