Crop Circles.

Crop Circle discovered at Alton Barnes in England in June 2004.

1) What are crop circles?

Located near the Savernake Forest in Wiltshire, this "optical maze" formation consists of
180 separate standing and flattened elements and is approximately 200 feet (60
meters) wide.

Crop circles or agriglyphs are patterns that appear in fields. Although the
stems are bent, they are not damaged. Sometimes the patterns are simple
circles. In other cases, they are elaborate designs consisting of various
interconnected geometric shapes.

Course: 4-22
Farmers reported finding strange circles in their fields for centuries. The
first mention of a crop circle dates back to the 1500s. A seventeenth-century
English woodcut shows a devilish creature making a crop circle. People who
lived in the area called the creature the "Mowing Devil."

-The Devil Reaper- Image: Woodcut from 1678 (WC).

Mentions of crop circles were sporadic until the 20th century, when circles
began to appear in the 1960s and 1970s in England and the United States.
But the phenomenon didn't attract attention until 1980, when a farmer in
Wiltshire County, England, discovered three circles, each about 60 feet (18
meters) wide, in his oat crops.

2) Designs of crop circles.

Training at Ogbourne St. George in Wiltshire.

Crop circles are not just circles, they can have many different shapes. The
most basic crop circle is the simple circle. The circles can also come in multi-
circle sets or be encased in a thin outer ring.
Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020
Student: Steve Arthur Völkl Osorio
Course: 4-22
The stems within a crop circle generally bend in what is known as a swirl
pattern. Even a single circle can contain two "layers" of stems, each rotating
in a different direction.

Some of the more sophisticated patterns are based on mathematical

equations. In a crop circle that had an outer circle and an inner circle, the
extent of the outer circle was exactly four times that of the inner circle. The
specific location of the shapes indicates that whoever the circle makers are,
they have a complex understanding of the geometry of a flat surface
introduced by the mathematician Euclid of Alexandria.

Some circles have fine lines that move away from them. These lines, called
spurs, are not actually part of the circle. They are created by the farmer's
tractor.

3) Crop circle locations.

Formation at Avebury Trusloe in Wiltshire.

Most circles are concentrated in the south of England, mainly in the

counties of Hampshire and Wiltshire. Many of them have been found near
Avebury and Stonehenge, two mystical sites that contain great stone
monuments.
Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020
Student: Steve Arthur Völkl Osorio
Course: 4-22

But Crop Circles are not limited to England. They have been seen in the
United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, India, France, Germany, and other
parts of the world.

The "season" for Crop Circles runs from April to September, which coincides
with the growing season. Circles tend to be created at night, hiding their
creators.

Crop Circles can be found in many different types of fields: wheat, corn,
oats, rice, rape, barley, rye, tobacco, even weeds. Most of the Crop Circles
are in low areas near steep hills, which may explain the theory of creation
of the wind.

4) Theories.
Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020
Student: Steve Arthur Völkl Osorio
Course: 4-22
Some theories of those who make the Crop Circles are:

UFOs and aliens.

Possibly the most controversial theory is that Crop Circles are the work of
visitors from other planets, something like alien business cards. Some
witnesses claim to have seen UFO-like lights and strange noises emanating
from Crop Circle sites.

Winds.
Probably the most scientific theory says that Crop Circles are created by
small currents of swirling winds called vortices. The rotating columns force
a blast of air into the ground, flattening the crops. Vortices are common in
mountainous areas such as those in southern England.
Dr. Terence Meden of the Tornado and Storm Research Organization
(TORRO) in Wiltshire, England says that the vortices that create Crop Circles
are charged with energy (his idea is called the Plasma Vortex Theory). When
dust particles are trapped in the charged, spinning air, they may appear to
glow, which may explain the bright UFO-like lights many witnesses have
seen near Crop Circles.

Aircraft.
Some researchers have theorized that small planes or helicopters cause
downdrafts that push crops down in patterns. Until now, recreation
attempts have failed to produce the types of downdrafts necessary to make
the edges perfectly round that are seen in most Crop Circles.

Earth energy.
Some researchers believe that the earth creates its own energy, which forms
circles. One possible form of terrestrial energy is electromagnetic radiation.
In fact, scientists have measured strong magnetic fields within crop circles,
and visitors have sometimes reported feeling a tingling sensation in their
bodies while in or near the circles.
In the early 1990s, American biophysicist Dr. William Levengood discovered
that circle crops were damaged in the same way as plants heated in a
microwave oven. He proposed the idea that crops were rapidly heating up
from the inside by some kind of microwave energy.

Humans.
The easiest explanation for Crop Circles is that they are man-made hoaxes,
created either for fun or to confuse scientists. Among the most famous
forgers are the British team of Doug Bower and Dave Chorley, known as
Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020
Student: Steve Arthur Völkl Osorio
Course: 4-22
"Doug and Dave". In 1991, the duo came out and announced that they had
made hundreds of crop circles since 1978.

Colin Andrews, a cereologist (Crop Circle enthusiast) and author of the book,
Circular Evidence, admits that about 80 percent of Crop Circles are likely
man-made, but says the other 20 percent is probably the work of some
"higher force".

5) How does man make a Crop Circle?

Circle maker John Lundberg displaying one of the 'stem stomps' (and
standing in front of the combine harvester) that his team will use to create
the formation.

Crop Circles appear to be very complex formations, with many geometric

shapes tied together in sophisticated patterns. But the basics of crop circle
creation and the tools involved are actually quite simple.

In general, circle creators follow these steps:

1. Choose a place.
2. Create a diagram of the design.
3. Once they reach the field, they use ropes and poles to measure the circle.
Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020
Student: Steve Arthur Völkl Osorio
Course: 4-22
4. A circle maker stands in the middle of the proposed circle and rotates one
foot while pushing the crop down with the other foot to make a center.
5. The team makes the radius of the circle using a long piece of string tied
at both ends to a board about 4 feet long (1.2 meters) called a stem (a garden
roller can also be used). One team member stands in the center of the circle
while the other walks around the edge of the circle, placing one foot in the
middle of the board to trample on the outline of the circle.

In August 2004, National Geographic contacted a team that included circle

makers John Lundberg, Rod Dickinson, and Wil Russell and requested a
daylight demonstration in Wiltshire in support of a crop circle documentary.
Here are the plans they worked with: Circle makers avoid getting caught by
working under cover of night and hiding their tracks in existing tractor tire
grooves.

6) How do researchers study Crop Circles?

This formation was discovered in Eastfield, England, in June 2004. An

article in the Western Daily Press called the design "astonishingly similar to
plans for one of Nikola Tesla's early teams."

When researchers arrive at the scene of a Crop Circle, they conduct an

exhaustive research, including the following methods:
• Talk to potential eyewitnesses and residents who live nearby.
• Examine the location and climate where the circles formed.
• Examine affected crops and surrounding soil with sophisticated
techniques to shoot X-rays at a sample to determine its compositional
materials.
• Take electromagnetic energy readings in and near crop circles.
• Analysis of circular patterns.
Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020
Student: Steve Arthur Völkl Osorio
Course: 4-22
• Researchers have been pondering the issue of crop circles for several
decades but have yet to find a real answer as to why they exist.

7) How is an authentic and a false Crop Circle different?

At first, they were circles and later they have evolved into more complex
drawings, according to Vicente Fuentes, a researcher who has spent years
studying the phenomenon. He is an Industrial Chemical Engineer, wrote the
book "The Enigma of the Circles", gives a lot of information on the subject,
and among other data indicates how to distinguish a false one from a true
one.

Some of the most significant differences between an authentic crop circle

and a fake one, is the result, because in England, there are some jokers who
try to copy the authentic crop circles, without success. To distinguish a true
from a false one you have to analyze variables such as:

- Stems:
Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020
Student: Steve Arthur Völkl Osorio
Course: 4-22
In the authentic one the fold does not have any breakage or damage, on the
other hand with the false ones since they are created with a board, machete
or on foot they break and are damaged and broken:

- Height of modification:

In the authentic there is a limit height to continue growing and the

modification of that energy appears just at the perfect height so that the
design looks perfect from the air, on the other hand with the stems of the
false circles the height is random due to the footprints giving a completely
irregular shape.
Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020

- Finishing of Designs:

The designs from the air of the authentic crop circles are perfect and exact
and the false circles are inaccurate and irregular.
Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020
Student: Steve Arthur Völkl Osorio
Course: 4-22
- Alteration of the magnetic field:

The subject of the alteration of the magnetic field is another of the most
interesting variables because there is an alteration of the terrain in various
parts of the circle; however, it never occurs in a false glyph.

- The electric field:

The electric field is also altered in the same way as the magnetic field, this
occurs in various parts of the altered terrain where the crop circle appears
and this never occurs in a circle that has been trodden on by humans.

- The diameter:
Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020
Student: Steve Arthur Völkl Osorio
Course: 4-22

The diameter in the circles of the authentic crops ranges between 60 and
600 meters and has even reached 800 meters and the diameter of the false
crop circles reaches at most 30 meters, from the air it is observed that the
real is gigantic.

- Footsteps and signs of nailed stakes:

In an authentic Crop Circle, under no circumstances are human footsteps,

on the other hand, you can check holes in false circles.
Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020
Student: Steve Arthur Völkl Osorio
Course: 4-22
- Geometric designs:

In the case of true circles, they are perfect and complex with fractal
mathematics and in the case of false circles they have a circumference at
most and has nothing to do with the three-dimensional of the true one.

- Alteration in the middle:

Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020
Student: Steve Arthur Völkl Osorio
Course: 4-22
The alteration in the medium and in several parts of the true circles such as
the ghost circles, which end up staying for years, since the energy used in
these causes plants to grow differently, whereas in false circles the Plants
quietly grow back as if nothing had happened to them.

- Appearance of light balls:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_h6mHhhRIuU&feature=youtu.be

The appearance of small balls of light in the real crop circles that at dawn,
without light and in seconds according to witnesses, come to mix with each
other and later separate, this never appears in the false circles that appear
in broad daylight with people who do not know geometry and leaves his mark
after entering the fields.

- Chlorophyll:
Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020
Student: Steve Arthur Völkl Osorio
Course: 4-22

Chlorophyll according to different studies carried out by different

laboratories in England in the plant is altered as magnetism and the electric
field occur, this alteration of chlorophyll never appears in false circles.

- Decoding:

There are several messages in a single authentic crop circle design, while
the false ones are simply linked to one another.

- Alterations in the water:

Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020
Student: Steve Arthur Völkl Osorio
Course: 4-22
There are disturbances in the water that the plants absorb from the
authentic crop circles, and those disturbances are not seen in the false crop
circles.

- Radioactivity emissions:

Like the magnetic field and the electric field that is altered, a scale of
radioactivity appears slightly higher than normal within the crop circles, it
is not harmful to humans, this never appears within what would be the false
circles.

- Land with inclination:

If we wanted to do something so difficult we would have to calculate what

the angle of inclination would be and this never happens in false crop circles
and if it happens absolutely perfectly in authentic crop circles.
Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020
Student: Steve Arthur Völkl Osorio
Course: 4-22
- Changes in people:

In the field of authentic circles changes are felt, as if they were designed by
a spiritual being, people ask permission or pay the owners of the cultivation
to enter to do meditations.

8) Some messages and interpretations:

Chilbolton's Message:
Chilbolton's message is a drawing or print that appeared on August 21, 2001
in a wheat field next to the Chilbolton radio telescope, in Hampshire (United
Kingdom), composed as a response to the message sent to space by
American astronomers Carl Sagan and Frank Drake, on November 16, 1974,
from the observatory with the Arecibo radio telescope in Puerto Rico.

For the analysis of the drawings considered the following points:

• The average human being was replaced by a giant-headed being -
macrocephalus.
Diario de Campo de ExpoPEP CSV 2019-2020
Student: Steve Arthur Völkl Osorio
Course: 4-22
• In indicating the atoms that make up life on Earth (carbon, hydrogen,
oxygen, and nitrogen), the drawings added silicon.
• Another difference is an extra line on the left side of the double helix DNA
and a nucleotide change of the DNA itself (the center line of the graph).
• It also seems to describe another solar system: in the Arecibo message, the
human being was on the third planet (Earth). Instead, this message
highlights the fourth, fifth planet and the sixth as the main planet; hence
the cross shape.

Sparsholt's Message:
On August 21, 2002, an impressive agroglyph appeared in the town of
Sparsholt, Hampshire, England. The print was made in a private cornfield.
Long before, many had been sighted in rural Peru, especially in the corn
fields.

Upon careful analysis of the disc, it was found that it contained a message
from the inside out, and clockwise, just like reading a CD. The separations
for every 8 digits make up the letters of a message in ASCII code (American
Standard Code for Information Interchange). They observed that there are
also rectangular blocks instead of squares, which are markers that separate
the letters.
The message that appears after the letter-by-letter translation of this album
is as follows:
“Beware the bearers of false gifts and their broken promises. Much pain, but
still time. Believe there is good out there. We oppose deception. Conduit
closing. 0X07”

The face of Jesus obtained by the NASA of the Shroud of Turin:

After various studies of the photographs obtained in Wickham County,

England on July 30, 2010, by joining the two 'crop circles', turning one of
them over and placing filters on the image using a technique that the
Experts have come to call "disk systems in symmetrical realities", nothing
less than the face of Christ is obtained, as it appears on the Shroud of Turin.

The Virgin:

It appeared on June 1, 2019, near Baillet-in-France, in Val de Oise, not far

from the small church of "Notre Dame de France", near which there is a
gigantic statue of the Holy Virgin, of nothing less than 17 meters high,
reaching 22.7 with the pedestal.

Conclusion.

The crop circles are presented in various parts of the world, generating a
business for the talented manufacturers and benefits for the crop owners
who ask not to harm the crop and in return, they ask for a donation to the
admirers of the crop circles, both local and foreign.
This is because in the seasons of appearance of the crop circles (April to
September), it has become a tourist plan. On the other hand, researchers
with the help of technological advances open the possibility that there are
other species that observe us and are creating a form of communication with
humans by being able to decipher their messages.
