CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION
In 2021, a group of students from the Our Lady of Fatima University in Antipolo
City began a feasibility study that led to the development of making malunggay tea.
These students came together and talked about making a healthy milk tea. This
approach was formed into a vision and soon, the idea will become a reality. In the
Philippines, coffee shops and milk tea shops have become prevalent, not only in upper
and middle-class professionals, but also in high school and college students looking for
an environment, a fun spot to hang about while taking a taste of their favorite milk tea.
Nowadays, a new tea craze is sweeping the city. People line up to enjoy a fresh tea
incarnation. Some people lined up for 30 minutes just to drink milk tea.
Our main product is malunggay tea. This product is made of moringa that has
been used to treat some diseases and it has a lot of benefits. It is also called a miracle
tree because of the side effects when you drink or eat this kind of plant. The physical
appearance of our product is within a U cup container filled with malunggay milk tea that
is coated with tapioca pearls with caramel glaze topping and a fine-looking straw. We
chose this product because milk tea is one of the most popular beverages as of this
day, but since milk tea is not a brand-new idea to the market Our group wants to
introduce a new healthy, unique and innovative version of milk tea.
It is not just an ordinary milk tea shop. We will put different types of board games
and interactional activities so customers can bond or relax without the use of their
cellphone while enjoying their milk tea. In this segment, the group target market will be
teens and young people who love drinking milk tea.
Lots of people will like our malunggay tea because of its benefits and of course
it’s delicious and healthy taste. Many people these days are conscious regarding their
health and the food that they’re taking so some of them are looking for foods that can
actually give them lots of benefits, but at the same time enjoy a delicious milk tea, as we
all know milk tea is a very popular beverage this day especially for the teenagers, but
drinking milk tea can cause a variety of health issues like diabetes, but this is the reason
why our milk tea is very popular because it has protein, vitamins, and mineral that would
help our body to stay healthy and hydrated. Moringa contains lots of vitamins like
Vitamin C which boost our immune system it also has a good effect on our body, so to
summarize the reason why our Malunggay tea is in high demand because it is not just
delicious, but it also has a good effect in our body, It’s not only their mouth who’s going
to enjoy our malunggay tea but also their whole body.
CHAPTER 2
PROJECT BACKGROUND
Project Proponent
The proponents came up with the brainstorming, there are several reasons why
we chose the business of malunggay tea. First of all, most of the proponents’ love
drinking milk tea. And also, some people love to drink milk tea but they are health
conscious. That's why we make sure to drink your favorite thirst quencher in a healthy
way.
Proposed Name of the Project
Me-racle Tea is the proposed name of the business. It is originated from the word
“Miracle” which means an event that appears inexplicable and our concept is a milk tea
shop that specializes in beverages with the use of moringa also known as the miracle
tree, from this connection: We put “Me” at the beginning because once you’ve to drink
our milk tea there will be a positive energy that will energize you if you feel lazy and
bored in your life.

To provide an affordable, healthy and delicious thirst quencher for all ages.
Vision
To be one of the leading milk tea housing in the country serving a healthy and
delicious thirst quencher that not only satisfy their milk tea craving but also have
benefits to the human body.

This emblem represents our malunggay product. We put malunggay in our logo
so that the customer will know that our milk tea is different from the others and they will
be impressed and curious about our product because it has health benefits. We also put
a u- cup milk tea picture so our customers can understand that our me-racle tea is not
just your regular tea that is in a small coffee cup.
In our emblem, the leaf symbolizes Moringga represents our business-main
ingredient, in addition, the green leaf also represents the color of life and is associated
with the meaning of growth, freshness, and a safe environment. We made this emblem
to represent our malunggay product. We also put a u-cup milk tea picture so our
customers can understand that our me-racle tea is not just your regular tea that is in a
small coffee cup. Our emblem also represents that a malunggay milk tea can be not
only hot tea but also cold malunggay milk tea. It can also gain the attention of
customers, because of its unique name and also because of the product itself.
Type and Form of Business
Me-racle Tea is a service business that provides tangible products, and the form
of business is a partnership. The proponents chose partnership as a way to combine
the partners’ skills resources, knowledge, and experience. Me-racle Milk tea will operate
as a limited partnership, through partners contributing cash for the start-up and ongoing
operations of the business.
Project Location
Me-racle Tea is located on the 2nd floor of Ayala Mall Feliz. Liwasang Kalayaan,
Barangay Marikina Heights.
The actual shop will be 50 square meters in size, and we'll use it to sell and
distribute goods. In our very own experience after visiting Ayala Feliz; We’ve noticed
that this mall is new and not occupied all stalls inside the mall. So, it’s our opportunity to
open a milk tea shop in Ayala Feliz, and this location is visited often by the people.

History of the Project
Our group was able to develop the idea by brainstorming, and also finding the
products that are the most trending nowadays. Since our group wants to develop a
unique product to introduce in the market; We’ve come up with an idea to introduce a
healthy milk tea where not only you will enjoy a delicious drink, but also have a healthy
drink to energize their gloomy and tired days. Our group has decided to use malunggay
milk tea but before that, we also try to see other ideas such as ihaw silog and fruit
cookies.

Company Policies and Guidelines
Employee and employer obligations are outlined in company policies and
procedures, which define the code of conduct for an organization. Company policies

a. Observance of the Rules and Regulations Employees should fully observe the

working hours, if they face an emergency that prevents them from coming to

whenever possible, Me-racle Milktea management should know if the employees
won’t be coming to scheduled work. So they can be adjust the scheduled.

Me-racle Milktea allow use of cellphones in the workplace. But we want
to ensure that phones will not distract the employee in their work or in the
workplace Me-racle Milktea ask to follow this guidelines of using phones in
work.
• Avoid texting while there’s a customer, use only when the text is already in
business. (business calls)
• Avoid playing games while on work
• Don’t use phones to record confidential files of Me-racle Milktea

Working hours and leave policies are vital parts of informative employee

D. Product Safety Policies
All employees must observe cleanliness in the workplace and in their
body.
The bottles, raw materials, equipment should wash properly for the safety
of the customers
Employees must be wearing a clean proper attire and the required
uniforms for the cashier/server personnel together with their hairnet and
gloves worn properly to ensure they do not represent harm or hazards to
consumers’ product.
All employees must follow the rules and regulations including the proper
haircut, clean fingernails and proper attire.

Democratic style because this management style promotes a deeper relationship
between the staff and management, and builds trust within teams, innovation, and

Organizational Structure
Me-racle tea is a functional structure and has only one goal, it is to be the most
top-selling milk tea in the whole world by serving them one of the healthiest milk tea that
they could ever drink and that is the malunggay tea.
To achieve this goal, miracle tea staff will move as one. Me-racle Tea has 1
Director or the head of this business, the one who will convert dreams into reality. Under
the Director 3 positions will directly report to the director. First is the Marketing Manager,
who is responsible for marketing their business, the one that thinks how will they
advertise their business. Then the Finance manager, the one who is responsible for the
financial health of the business. Under this position there is Accounting Assistant, it is
the one who will record business transactions and submit them at the end of the year.
Thirdly is the Operation manager, who is in charge of operating and supervising the
business, it also helps or guides the barista and service crew.
No goal cannot be achieved, with the help of these persons you can turn
your visions into reality, to be the most top-selling milk tea in the world.
