Some people decide to start their own business instead of working for a company or

organization. Do the advantages for people working for their own business outweigh the
disadvantages? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from
your own knowledge or experience.

Many people nowadays encourage young people to pursue their own careers rather than
working for a company. It eventually became fashionable. This choice has a lot of
advantages, but it also has a lot of drawbacks and issues.

In terms of disadvantages, self-employment entails a lot of unknown hazards. Start-ups
require different kinds of costs such as advertising costs, production costs, labor training
costs and so on. If you don't have enough capital, you have to find a way to make as
much money as possible to cover those expenses. The most common way people use it is
to borrow from a bank with a high interest rate because the transaction is now done. The
danger is that you will not have enough money to pay the bank the capital and interest
when it is due. Some people will turn to bad debt organizations at this time. The second
drawback is that you are mentally unstable and are subjected to a great deal of stress.
You're always concerned about the company's income and profit. Managers must deal
with paying employees and bear responsibility for the lives of their subordinates. Long-
term exposure to such settings will induce stress and jeopardize your health.

However, there are definite benefits to choosing to start their own business. The main
reason given to support this claim is that helps them to reap the bigger financial rewards.
Although starting a business carries many risks, it can get a huge amount of profits.
Moreover, your life becomes more free, flexible and independent, not affected by others.
So many people feel satisfied when their business strategies end up getting off the
ground.

All in all, I believe that starting a business by yourself will increase your chances of
success more than working for a company. It also provides more opportunities for self-
development.
