Dear Parents/ Guardians,
Because your child at Egg Harbor Township High School is enrolled in one or more of the
List of Dual Credit Classes, your child has an opportunity to elect to receive college credit from
Atlantic Cape Community College. Below, please find information on Atlantic Cape Community
College Dual Credit Courses and how your child may receive college credits.
DUAL-CREDIT COURSES FAQs
What is Dual Credit?
Dual Credit courses are classes offered at the High School where students will have the
opportunity to earn college credits along with high school credits. The deadline to complete
the following steps and hand-in your registration forms is October 22, 2021.
How do I get college credits?
1. Schedule the appropriate course(s) at the high school.
2. Complete an Egg Harbor Township High School Dual Credit Participation Form for each class
to let us know that you are interested in obtaining Dual Credit for your class or classes. You
can use the following link but you must be logged in to your school account:
https://forms.gle/5voBDJrMG2vLqVyD9
3. Apply to ACCC for Dual Credit via www.atlantic.edu/apply. You must create a new account if
you do not already have one. If you already participated in Dual Credit previously and
completed this step you do not have to apply again. You must complete this step before you
complete and hand in your registration form explained in Step 4.
4. Complete and submit the PDF Registration Form attached for ACCC. The EHT/ACCC Course
Equivalent Names are listed below to assist you in filling out your ACCC Registration Form.
Once you complete the form for each class, with all of information completed, print it out,
sign it and have your parent/guardian sign it and give it to your teachers. The teachers will
then submit all of the completed forms to Mrs. Leonetti. (The only part that may be left
blank is the Atlantic Cape Student ID# in case you do not receive it from ACCC before
the Dual Credit due date.
5. Students will be able to complete payments to ACCC using their ACCC WebAdvisor Accounts,
issued through the college not the high school, once your application is complete. Once in your
account, you can make your payment by clicking on the tab, “Financial Information.” Please
contact Carmen Cabrera at ACCC for assistance with payments and payment plans at 609-
343-5608.
6. Students must pass the Dual Credit Course with a grade of 70 or better. Please remember,
students will receive a transcript from ACCC not the high school.
7. Students must pay a fee of $59.30 per ACCC credit in order to receive the college credits.
ACCC will provide payment information after registration takes place (see below for additional
info). If payment questions should arise, feel free to contact ACCC at 609-343-5608.
(IMPORTANT: The first three credits are free. So, only if the student is taking more
than one course or a four credit course, he or she will have to pay or pay the difference
for the cost of the class.)
