understand that I am still in the decision-making process regarding the Sacrament of Confirmation.
With this understanding, I commit myself to grow in the love of Christ and the Church in the following ways:

WORD  Spend time daily developing a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer
and the reading of Scripture.

 Attentively listen to the Sunday Scripture readings and reflect upon their meaning
for my life.

WORSHIP  Take an active part in the Faith life of my parish community by attending Mass
regularly on Sundays and Holy Days.

 Receive the Sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation often.

 Appreciate the Sacramental life of the Church by growing in the knowledge of the
Sacraments.

 Put God first in my life through personal prayer and communal participation in the
prayer devotions and sacramental life of this faith community.

SERVICE  Participate attentively and willingly in all of the Confirmation activities: parish
AND projects, service projects, retreat, group prayer, special events, and the Confirmation
MISSION faith-sharing interview process.

 Use my talents and gifts for the good of my family, my Church, and my community.

I ask God, my Father, Jesus, my Savior, and the Holy Spirit, who guides me, to help me fulfill this
commitment.
