Many industries are now dependent on computers to the extent that they are unable to
have their workflows processed in the absence of computers. Computers are regarded as vital to
carry out tasks that range from entertainment to navigation. Computers are indeed part of our
daily tasks, although there are a couple of advantages and disadvantages accompanied by the use
of computers.
One of the most important advantages of computers is speed (Daley, 2007). Nowadays,
people are not considering computers as a calculating device as most people used to do before. It
happens to be a part of close to all functions of human life. Almost everyone will agree with me
that computers happen to be possessing unbelievable speed that assists people to accomplish the
tasks that they are having in a relatively short period. It has the potential of handling lots of
instructions per second, something that I find so incredible. With its unbelievable speed, it has
the potential of minimizing the amount of time that people spend on undertaking a digital task.
The other advantage of computers is storage. Computers are able to store and gain access
to vast amounts of information (Murrell, 2009). Computers' storage capacity has significantly

sitting for a more extended period can also result in pain in your back or neck, which has the
potential of resulting in severe injury in the future. As a result, it is advisable that a computer
user adheres to the necessary precautions and take a couple of minutes break after every thirty
earlier, computers have the potential to perform numerous tasks robotically. Unfortunately, this
minimizes the need for labor offered by individuals and ultimately increases unemployment. At
the same time, it has had a negative impact on many people who are not literate enough to
In conclusion, even though numerous disadvantages accompany computers, I feel that the
advantages surpass them by far. These days, you can computers in nearly all sectors hence
accomplishing tasks is becoming easier for human beings. Therefore, it is upon human beings to
