Monitors the trend of patient vitals and administers IV, oral and injectable medications as
ordered
Delivers patient-centered care and educates both patients and family members in order to aid
in the self-efficacy of care
Currently participating in an evidenced based team project to review the current practices and
decrease the rates of catheter associated urinary tract infections occurring within the unit.
Regularly operate as a Student Nurse Preceptor, New Nurse Preceptor and Charge Nurse.
