to create an image in their mind that appeals to senses.

Furthermore this lesson enables the learner not only to identify sensory
images but also to express appreciation on its use.

Key points:

Sensory Images - is a literary device that the writers employ to engage a readers
Mind on multiple levels. Sensory Imagery explores the five human senses: sight
(visual), sound (auditory), smell (olfactory), taste (gustatory), and touch (tactile).

M and M’s candy

The sweet smell of sugar seems to call me in the evenings. The lure of its
deliciousness is hard to resist. When the temptation is too much to handle. I tip –toe
into the kitchen, past the judgmental eyes of the photos, hanging on the wall, and
over the cracking sounds of the hard wood floors. The sight of those beautifully –
rounded treats only increases the pounding of my heart and salivating in my mouth.
“M” means mine, all mine. The taste of its succulent, melting goodness on my tongue
causes all my senses to celebrate Mmm and Mmm good.
