Investigatory Project Rubric

This rubric evaluates research papers and projects on several criteria in a scoring system from 1 to 10. It assesses how well students establish the research context by clearly stating the research problem and objectives. It examines how thoroughly the literature review incorporates relevant sources to define the problem, research gaps, and justify the research questions. The rubric also evaluates the identification of an appropriate research design for collecting and analyzing data related to the research objectives. Finally, it assesses the description of data collection procedures, use of appropriate analysis techniques, and use of graphics to visually present data and results.
