Bridges STEM Challenge
Print out the bridges that you would like to include in your STEM,
science, art, or block center. To make the pages very sturdy, you can
print them on cardstock and then laminate each of them.

Hole punch each page and add all of the pages to a binder ring. This will
allow you to hang the book of bridges up near your chosen center. If
you’d rather bind it, you can use a binding machine or multiple binder
rings. You can even just pin the bridge pages to a bulletin board.

Children can use the bridge pages as a reference or inspiration while

they’re building with blocks, other STEM materials, or art materials. You
can incorporate literacy by having the kids use magnetic letters to make
the bridges’ names. Add geography by plotting each bridge’s location on
a class map.

Add to the bridges book by including

photos of bridges from your own
community!
