Activity 6.1 Observing Classroom Management and Routines: Analyze
ANALYZE
Analyze the routines set by the Resource Teacher by answering the following questions.
1. Were the routines effective in ensuring discipline and order in the class? Why? Why not?
Yes, it was effective because the routines are effectively followed by students and ensuring
the order inside the classroom. Without the daily routines ensuring discipline and order inside
the class might be difficult for unorganized classroom.
2. Which of those routines were systematic and consistently implemented? Explain your answer.
Movement into the classroom and asking question during lessons, these are the routines
were systematic ad consistently implemented. Movement into the classroom will have an
interaction to the students, to make the class/ lesson livelier. Asking question during lessons will
ensure that the students understand the lesson if not the teacher will discuss that part again
before proceeding to the next topic.

Reflect on the various routine observed.
1. Which of the routines will you most likely apply in your class? Why? Why not?
Movement into the classroom, working with pairs/groups and asking question during lessons
these are the routines I’d like to apply in my class as a future science teacher. Movement into the
classroom ensure a cooperative and enjoy class for them able to voice out the questions. Working
with pairs/groups will help those students who are slow at understanding the lesson, this would
apply the peer-teaching where the students is comfortable to their classmates to ask what they
don’t understand. Lastly is asking question to ensure that they understand the lessons.

Observe a class and list down the classroom rules formulated by the Resource Teacher. Cite the
importance of this rules.
ANALYZE
1. Analyze each given rules. What circumstances led to the formulation of the rule?
Punctuality for them not to miss the early class, no gadget during class hours ensure that
the learner are attentive to the class discussion, always do your best for them to not regret by not
doing their best in an activity/projects, be responsible be responsible of their decision an able to
manage their time and lastly respect the idea of others is to express their ideas and develop self-
confidence.
2. Are classroom rules really important?
Classroom rules are important to ensure organization and discipline of the class.
Classroom rules set the proper and safe way to act in the class and improving students’ learnings.
REFLECT
Reflect on the various classroom rules set by the Resource Teacher. Will you have the same
rules? If not, what rules are you going to employ? Explain your answer.
These are the rules I would employ as follow:
Avoid loitering during class hours.
Pass assignments/projects on the due date given.
Always maintain cleanliness in the classroom.
Respect others with their ideas.
No gadget during class discussion.
These are the rules I would like to implement because they are achievable to prevent the
misconduct behavior of the student.
