Slimming down the portfolio for an energy-efficient world

Phase-out management means the specific adjustment of material stocks of phase-out products in line with decreasing
production figures. The aim of phase-out management is to avoid situations involving material surplus or shortage and
the resulting financial consequences during phase-out.

Phase-out – When?
The last phase of the product lifecycle begins with the product milestone (P.M.) P.M400. This notification is published approx.
14 months prior to end of ordering.
