Policies & Procedures
The appointee will assist in the development of online counseling programme for social anxiety disorder and deliver service to clients. Duties include:

(a) Assisting the Principal Investigator to develop the program materials;
New Appointment Kit
(b) Providing therapeutic support to clients with social anxiety disorder to use the online counseling platform or mobile app;
Orientation and Induction (c) Conducting face-to-face counselling sessions and telephone follow-ups;
(d) Providing online feedback to clients;

(e) Giving public talks to recruit participants;
FAQ (f) Attending press conference to promote the project; and
(g) Providing training to local mental health professionals on usage of the platform solutions to work with their clients.
Performance Pledges
Requirements:
psychologist
(i) Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master's degree in counseling psychology, social work, clinical counseling or equivalent;
(ii) at least eight years of front-line work experience, preferably in mental health field and in practicing cognitive behavioral therapy;
(iii) excellent writing and communication skills in both Chinese and English; and
(iv) innovative and proactive when working with a team.

The job scope and remuneration offered by the University will be comparable to the rank of Assistant Social Work Officer in the Government and NGOs. Clinical
psychologists, registered social workers and counselors are welcome to apply. This post can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis. Applications will be
considered until the post is filled.

Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
