TYPES OF HOTEL NAME
1. Extended Stay Hotel - It's popular among business
travelers and others who are planning to stay in one
place for several days, weeks, even months. Most
extended stay establishments feature additional
amenities, such as a fully outfitted kitchen, to help
guests feel more at ease.
2. Gastro Hotel - Gastro hotels are ideal for foodies
because they focus on offering tourists with
overnight lodging as well as delicious meals. With
fewer than 50 rooms, gastro hotels are often on the
small side. The Cookbook Gastro Boutique Hotel &
Spa, for example, offers only 17 rooms and takes
great pride in providing culinary pleasures for those
who choose to stay there.
3. Eco Hotel - A green hotel, also known as a
sustainable hotel, is a type of hotel that focuses
heavily on being environmentally friendly and
sustainable. Green efforts, such as solar power and
trash reduction, are promoted by eco-friendly
hotels, which prioritize lowering their
environmental impact.
4. Roadhouse Hotel - The word "roadhouse" was once
widely used to describe hotels or other minor lodging
alternatives located along highways. In the United
Kingdom, it was also a common word for roadside
taverns with housing facilities. While some hotels
and venues still use the phrase in their advertising,
it's now more typically linked with restaurants.
5. Resort Hotel - A resort is a venue that tries to provide
guests with everything they need in one place: lodging,
dining, drinking, shopping, and entertainment. Some
resorts are all-inclusive, allowing guests to pay one payment for limitless services. They are
frequently located in popular tourist areas.
TYPES OF LINEN UN THE HOTEL
1. Flat Sheet - Between you and your duvet,
there is a huge sheet. Because the
objective of a flat sheet is to protect your
duvet cover, you shouldn't have to wash
your duvet cover as frequently if you
wash your flat sheet frequently.
2. Mattress Protector - is a removable piece
of bedding that protects a mattress by
sitting on top of it or encasing it. Dust
mites, bed bugs, mold, and dead skin are
just a few of the allergies and irritants that
certain mattress coverings protect the
person sleeping on the mattress against.
3. Bed Sheets - is a rectangular piece of
cloth that is used as bedding, either
alone or in pairs, and is placed directly
below or above the bed occupants. A
top sheet is a flat sheet that is placed
directly beneath the bed occupants in
many nations where they are used.
4. Blanket - Almost any bed covering thicker
than a sheet is referred to as a blanket,
which includes quilts, duvets, and
comforters.
5. Coverlet - A coverlet is a
bedcovering with sides that hang
down a few inches past the box spring, but don't touch the floor. A coverlet can be
tucked in or left untucked if edged with decorative trim. Luxury coverlets can be
layered directly over a flat sheet or over a blanket.
TYPES OF LINEN USE IN RESTAURANTS
1. Placemats - A placemat or table mat is a
covering or pad designating an individual
place setting, unlike the larger tablecloth that
covers the entire surface.
2. Table Covers and Cloth
- A tablecloth is a piece
of fabric that is used to
cover the surface of a
table. Some are primarily
decorative coverings that
may also act as a scratch
and stain shield for the
table. Other tablecloths
are intended to be spread
on a dining table before the cutlery and food are placed.
3. Table Napkins - A napkin, serviette or
face towelette is a square of cloth or
paper tissue used at the table for wiping
the mouth and fingers while eating. It is
usually small and folded, sometimes in
intricate designs and shapes.
4. Table Skirt - Table skirts are one piece
of pleated fabric that is attached to the
outside edge of a table either with a
table clip or staples. They don't cover
the top of a table so another piece of
fabric or vinyl is recommended.
