A visit to Qualla Boundary: (2016 Precis)
Last May, we visited a thrilling place without holiday crowds called
Cherokee. There we visited a town called Qualla Boundary surrounded by breathtaking mountains with Indian Village reproducing tribal crafts and reminding us of the lifestyle of the 18 th century. Although having a language barrier, we visited the souvenir shops decorated with rubber tomahawks and traditional war bonnets. Here we met a trip guide named George, who told us that Cherokees not only rely on tourists for survival but there is also a Bingo Weekend, in which people play various games like the super jackpot and the Warrior Game special. At last, we visited the museum where arts from simple handwork to stone carvings of wolves and other symbols of Cherokee cosmology are displayed. Original words: 380
