Body Wall Thickness of Pressure Safety Valves - SetPoint Instruction

This article discusses how erosion of boiler safety valve body walls can occur over time and pose risks. It recommends checking the wall thickness according to ASME standards to identify any issues before failures happen. Thin walls can lead to failure under pressure and force. The company offers inspection services to evaluate safety valve populations and minimize risks from aging valves with long lead times for replacements.

Additionally, inspecting the body wall thickness of your safety valve

they can occur helps to position end users to be their most
competitive.

So how do you know when the  wall thickness has become to thin?

state of their valve body wall, leading to prevention of a failure.
