I. COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is a general introduction to economic. It is an examination of basic characteristics of modern economy
on production, problems of distribution, labor and economic organization. It also includes the study of the general
objectives, nature; purpose of taxation, characteristics of taxes, the limitations on the power of taxation, the situs of
taxation. The study of agrarian reform is also included

II. DESIRED LEARNING OUTCOMES

On the completion of the course, the student is expected to be able to do the following:

1. To discuss the meaning of branches of Economics.


2. To ilustrate the elements of Demand and Supply.
3. To analyze the concept of Elasticity.
4. To evaluate the market structure in international economics.
5. To develop critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills towards the concept of Economics.

they need to present it in 3 classes , it can be in BED,SHS,TED. This Activity will give an awareness on how our
economy grows and developed.They will be using illustration board ½ size only.
