Mom’s Busy Day
My mom usually starts her day at eight o’clock.
And she has lots of stuff to do everyday!
First she has a shower. Then she has breakfast
– an orange juice, cereal and toast. And she prepares
the family breakfast.
At about nine o’clock she leaves the house,
takes us to school and goes to work. She works in a
music shop in Lisboa. The shop opens at ten. She
works all morning and then she has lunch at half past
one, in a café. The shop closes at five o’clock and she
goes home.
When mom arrives home she does the daily
household tasks – make the beds, iron, vacuum, clean
and cook.
In the evening we have dinner. After dinner,
mom helps us with homework. And we go to bed at
half past ten.
My mom just goes to bed at midnight. So she has time to watch TV or use the computer. She
likes to go on the internet or email her friends.
It’s different at the weekend! On Saturday afternoon she has some timeout and so she goes
shopping. She loves buying CD’s and clothes. On Saturday night she and dad often go out with some
friends. She loves to dance. They always have a good time!
