The soldering pads for accessing the ECU are located in the lower part of the unit, but the whole ECU is covered by silicon wax which must be carefully removed. A direct connection can be made to the ECU by connecting a universal wiring harness to ports POL4 and the ECU connector, and inserting two 1kOhm resistors as shown in diagrams for reading and writing to the ECU, removing the resistors before reinstalling the ECU. Diagrams demonstrate the proper connection configuration.

The soldering pads are in the lower part of the ECU. In order to get access it is necessary to
remove the silicon wax that covers the whole ECU. This operation MUST BE DONE CAREFULLY.

Connect the power connections for teh DIRECT CONNECTION

DIRECT CONNECTION
Connect the universal wiring to POL4 and to the the ecu connector as shown in the pictures. In
order to read / write the ECU it is necessary to put two resistors of 1Kohm as in the picture.
Remove the tewo resistors before setting back the ECU into the car.
