Goal:
It aims to strengthen the spiritual values of nurses and incorporate it to the functions of
nurses while illuminating the fullness of caring.

TITLE:
THE IMPACTS OF SPIRITUALLY EQUIPPED NURSE IN CARING OF PATIENTS

THEME:
“NURTURING INDIVIDUALS SPIRITUAL BELIEF TO STRENGTHEN NURSING CARE”

RATIONALE:
Spirituality is an important aspect of holistic care that is frequently overlooked. This is
because of difficulties in conceptualising spirituality and confusion about how it should be
integrated into nursing care.

OBJECTIVE:
This program explores what is meant by spirituality and spiritually competent practice.
It examines attitudes to spirituality, describes factors that might affect the integration of
spirituality into nursing care and offers practical guidance to equip nurses to incorporate
spirituality into their practice.

PARTICIPANTS:
Professional nurses in Gattaran Emergency Hospital who directly handles
patients/clients.

VENUE:
The program shall be administered at a hall fit for discussion and sharing.
