Is the Philippines a country in the Global South? Why or why
not
Yes, I brought this up because the Global South, which
includes the Philippines, has traditionally relied on an abundance
of inexpensive labor to prop up their economies. Philippines is
one of the countries in the Global South which also one of the
countries that has a big population.
The Philippines, officially the Republic of the Philippines,
is an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia. It is situated in the
western Pacific Ocean, and consists of about 7,640 islands, that
are broadly categorized under three main geographical divisions
from north to south: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The Global
South is a term often used to identify lower-income countries on
one side of the so-called divide, the other side being the countries
of the Global North (often equated with developed countries). I
look at how the International Relations concepts of state, rational
choice, and the international system are seen as inapplicable to
the workings of the global south, and how this “misfit” is detected
not only in the dynamics of Philippine foreign policy, but also in
its relationships with various regional powers like the United
States and China. The Philippines is one of the top migrants
sending countries and is often lauded as a model migrant country
due to its skilled migrant labor force, high remittance rates and
forward-thinking government policies.
Therefore, I conclude that Philippines can also give a
contribution to the progress of the Global South country.
Specifically, when in terms of economic relations.

Do you believe that ASEAN integration will lead us to the kind
of desirable future that our country envisions? Why or why
not? Refer your perspective/ ideas to the pictures you see
below.
Yes, ASEAN economic integration is the economic
integration as a development strategy. The goal was to participate
in the global supply chain and measures to achieve that goal were
attracting foreign capital and concluding FTAs with countries
outside the region.
ASEAN integration is a great way to a progressive country
that every people desiring of. This could help to develop economic
country. Integration between all countries will empower all
human resources and it can provide their needs and interest that
can lead to a progressive country. ASEAN integration can help us
to improve our country to become successful. This will help also in
terms of creating new ideas to cope up a new innovation to have a
better and productive country. ASEAN is a front-runner in East
Asia’s economic integration and also plays a central role in the
area’s regional cooperation. ASEAN was founded in August 1967
by its five original member countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, the
Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. At the time of ASEAN’s
founding, Southeast Asia was in the midst of the Vietnam War, and
political cooperation and security in Southeast Asia were central
issues. Economic cooperation began after the 1976 Declaration of
ASEAN Concord was adopted at the first summit in 1976.
Therefore, I conclude that ASEAN integration will be
effective. If the people will help to improve and be productive.
Also, if they want to have what they desire of and to have a better
future that having the things they want.

With the fast-paced interconnectedness of the world through
social network platforms, what is the image of the youth do
you envision 10 to 15 years from now? Are you happy with
image? Why or why not?
Social media refers to any applications, websites and blogs
that allow people all over the world to connect or to interact over
the internet, chat, exchange material and make video calls, among
other things. To access material and to share and communicate
with other users of that social media network, a person must first
sign up and then sign in. Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and
Snapchat are just a few of the popular and commonly utilized
social networking networks.
Social media has grown in popularity and growth over the
last several decades. To the point that many researchers are now
interested in understanding more about these social platforms
and their effects on the community. Despite the fact that
practically everyone in the community is attached to at least one
social media platform. Youth and teenagers are the most active
and enthusiastic users of these platforms. Even so far as to
socialize while in class or even at church. In these studies, have
indicated that social media sites have a significant impact on the
morality, behavior and even education of our youth in society.
Also, social networking sites enable open communication, expand
business contacts and make it easier to stay in touch with family
and friends.
I’m happy with his image because social media has
allowed people stay in touch with distant friends, families, and
other influential people in their lives for many years which would
have been difficult otherwise. It shows to be an excellent platform
for promoting and facilitating a wide range of activities. It has
made it very easy to communicate with our family, friends,
relatives and our love ones in real time. People can use social
media to share photos and videos as well as connect with their
friends and family. This has strengthened connections and it is
bringing families together in a way that was not possible in the
past.

In the age of globalization, does religion and gender matter?
How?
Yes, in the age of globalization religion and gender are
important as most religious orders place a high value on gender.
Religions have a significant impact on gender relations. Gender
and religion studies have grown as a result of a greater interest in
feminist culture, and several approaches to gender and religion
have developed.
Globalization stands for more frequent and daily
communication and religions are growing more self-aware of their
status as world faiths. Religion gives people a sense of belonging
to a community. Religion has withstood the modern world's
complexities and it appears to be intensifying under current
development conditions. Also, gender is an important factor in
development. It's a way of looking at how social standards and
power structures affect the lives and opportunities of men and
women from different backgrounds. Women live in poverty at a
higher rate than males around the world. It has the ability to help
people achieve greater equality.
As a result, religion plays a social function by assisting in
social concerns, gaining greater awareness. It has done so
throughout history and will continue to do in the future. They
grow and reflect our life experiences. Although it is impossible to
estimate how this process will develop in the future.
