Subject: Mistaken bill on 15th July

Dear Mrs. Goldberg,

Please accept our apologies for the error made by our hotel in sending you the wrong
bill on 15th July.
We have investigated the situation, and found that on the same day, there was another
customer using our service at the same time with you. This was due to a typing error
which our staff mistook room 201 for 301.
Since we value you as a close customer, we will credit your account for the over-
charge and we would like to offer you a 10% discount off your next experience with
us.
We apologize for the inconvenience this business has caused you and assure you of
our best attention to your future experience.

Yours sincerely

Subject: Temporary leisure area and set up rota system

In order to upgrade our factory’s infrastructure, we are going to re-decorate the

restaurant and leisure area and install new kitchen equipment. We will have to use the
canteen of Regina factory near us temporarily for two weeks.

The lunchtime break will be extended by 15 minutes for all workers, to give time for
walking to and from the factory. To save time, lunchtime will operate on a rota
system, 3 groups at half hour intervals, beginning at 11.30am.

Please inform to all workers in your department and organize among yourselves the
rota system and send me the list by 5 noon tomorrow. The main aim of this is to
ensure that no unnecessary time is spent away from the workplace.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me. Thank you.
