NAME:Rica Calza DATE: Oct 30 2021

COURSE/YEAR & SECTION: BSA21 PROF.: Sir Jerome Buhay

OBJECTIVES
1. Create a pivot table and data visualization in Microsoft Excel.
2. Clearly organize and compute detailed information about the three data sets.
3. Graph and calculate several descriptive measures of the data set using a variety of methods

TASKS, RESULTS, INTERPRETATION

Categorical Data
Tasks:
1. There is no significant difference among the level of job satisfaction of the employees when they are grouped
according to
1.1 gender

Null Hypothesis: Job satisfaction is statistically significant to Gender.

The mean of Job satisfaction is equal to mean of gender.
Alternative Hypothesis: Job satisfaction is not statistically significant
to gender. The mean of Job satisfaction isnot equal to mean of
gender.

The level of significance is 99.6%. Test static is Independent samples

T-test
Decision and Conclusion: The mean for Job satisfaction is 4.15833.
The P-value of the Job satisfaction and Gender is less then 0.05 and it
results to 0.004. It means that we rejected the null hypotheses and
there is a significant difference between Job Satisfaction and Gender.

1.2 job status

Null Hypothesis: Job satisfaction is statistically significant to Job

Status. The mean of Job satisfaction is equal to mean of Job Status.

Alternative Hypothesis: Job satisfaction is not statistically significant

to Job Status. The mean of Job satisfaction isnot equal to mean of
genderJob Status.

The level of significance is 99%. Test static is Independent samples T-

test

Decision and Conclusion: The mean for Job satisfaction is 4.15833.

The P-value of the Job satisfaction and Job Status Gender is less then
0.05 and it results to 0.001. It means that we rejected the null
hypotheses and there is a significant difference between Job
Satisfaction and Job Status.
2. There is no significant difference among the level of job performance of the employees when they are grouped
according to
2.1 educational attainment

Null Hypothesis: Job Performance is statistically significant to

Educational Attainment. The mean of Job Performance is equal to
mean ofEducational Attainment

Alternative Hypothesis: Job Performance is not statistically

significant to Educational Attainment. The mean of Job Performance
is not equal to mean ofEducational Attainment

The level of significance is 99%. Test static is ANOVA

Decision and Conclusion: The P- value anova of Job Performance and

Educational Attainment is 0.013 means it is statistically significant.

2.2 length of service

Null Hypothesis: Job Performance is statistically significant to Length
of service. The mean of Job Performance is equal to mean of Length
of service

Alternative Hypothesis: Job Performance is not statistically

significant to Length of service. The mean of Job Performance is not
equal to mean of Length of service

The level of significance is 99%. Test static is ANOVA

Decision and Conclusion: The P- value anova of Job Performance and

Length of Service is 0.009 means it is statistically significant. The
mean square of length of service is 3.344
