Musicoke - Online Music App & Karaoke


Customer Research:
We have taken responses from 15 customers these are the insights from these customers

 In research we have found the customer age range is 20-25 years listen online music app.
 They listen music average time around 30-60 minutes
 These customers in music are likely to listen their selections of songs not recommendation
 These customers want to try karaoke in new app as they seen it first time
 Customers like to set the ringtone in their mobile
 Customers want to do Karaoke with their friends or known people
 Customers like to set as default app. when they want to hear music and karaoke along

Competitor Research:

There are many online music streaming app like gaana, wynk, Spotify, etc which provide the
customer unlimited music service with advertisement

In our application there are music streaming and other is karaoke service which enable
customer to listen and sing song at same time so our application compete with music app and
karaoke app

Product Details:

This product is an application is known as Musicoke it is for entertainment purpose. It is two


service in one app first is music and second is Karaoke.

Features:

 Music App have unlimited music streaming


 You can add to playlist, make your own playlist through add to playlist
 You can make group of 3 people and add music listen together add your songs and make
collection
 If you want to add more people there is pro version in this app
 You can create ringtone of your favorite songs
 You can set caller tune of your favorite songs price charges as per your sim network
 You share songs through link to other apps like WhatsApp, FB, instagram, etc
 Karaoke you make solo or with friend or known people
 Karaoke you can select song from music section
 In Karaoke you can create short video for posting in various social media like in status
 In Karaoke there is report option you can report to people who is abusing or offensive
against you

Strength:

 This music app can able to recognize song if the user don’t know the name of the song and
also the voice search

Weakness:

 For customers while setting the caller tune it charges in per month at per song very few
customers can afford
 There is no podcast or radio in this app

Capabilities:

 This app did not need any high speed internet connectivity it can also work in stable
internet connection
 While recognizing song you can write lyrics in search box it will give you songs results

This prototype above Fig 1.1 is before responses we have made a design for customers what
they have to say about this they want to add some features or make changes in interference of
this app.

Customer Responses regarding Prototype:

 In Karaoke create or watch option should be there in menu it is easy accessible. There
should not be different screen for this
 Search option should occupy in upper space, username is not necessary
 Save option should be there in music and karaoke
 Video on/off option should be there. while creating karaoke people do not wish to turn on
video

Point of Parity: There are many music streaming service with millions of music with
have many features in it such as add to library, play next, shuffle, etc
There is different application for karaoke.

Point of Differentiation: In our app (Musicoke) there is a combination of both music


and karaoke so in music we have other option like create a ringtone, set as caller tune as
customer like which song to select to set ringtone or caller tune
In karaoke customer listen their favourite songs and like to sing so they can create karaoke
on their song.

Those customer like to listen and to sing song so they can use this app (Musicoke)

Show their talent by singing, like to set music for ringtone and caller tune, like to listen
music together

To understand what customers think about this application
To get benefit from the app service like setting caller and ring tone
To know the worth of this application in the market

 Strategy: Making partnership with telecommunication company so that the service of


caller tune can promote through telecommunication company
 Platforms: This application can be accessible in both android and IOS device. In windows
also but there will caller tune and ring tone feature will be not available

 Communication: This application can communicate through social media showing


advertisement in social media because this app mainly for the youth this app can easily
attract youth through social media. Showing advertisement in Television
From the telecommunication company also we can communicate this app like SMS

Product Life Cycle:

Introduction Stage: This product is new in the market which has two service like music and
karaoke. In music it has option of setting ringtone and caller tune and karaoke will be there for
singers. This app is both listening & singing.

Growth Stage: This application will be advertised in other music app through this it will create
aware to other customers. By making 10-15 seconds advertisement we will show benefit of this
and it will attract customers. Those customers who like listening and singing will try out this
new app these app will have new features.

Maturity Stage: This app is well known by the customers as they listen music with friends
creating group and create karaoke with their friends so we have to take feedback and keep in
touch with customers in this stage we need make changes or update so the customers use this
application will be sustainable in market

Decline Stage: This app has less chances in declining because this app is new in the market no
other application has launched like this
