Shri. Ch. Srisailam Reddy, B.Tech & MIT (AUSTRALIA), is the secretary and correspondent of
CMR Engineering College, is an outstanding personality and a great acumen with a
vision of building up the standard of educational institutions to provide the best quality
technical education with professional approach. His view is to provide world class
resources for technical education to the future Engineers of the Nation. To make this
facility readily available for the students, he constantly develops excellent
infrastructure and resources to the students of CMREC. His goal is to facilitate the
students in comfortable careers in their lives. In this process strategically, he
systematizes diversified training programmes for the well-being of the students. He
continuously works on expanding and enhancing the technical skills of the students, by
arranging them various resources like providing well-furnished classrooms, library, and
laboratories. He believes in the saying –

“Climb every mountain, cross every stream,

follow every rainbow, till you find your dream”
 Dr. A.Srinivasula Reddy, a name which spells supreme quality in the fields of academics and
administration, has been rendering his untiring services as the Principal of CMR Engineering
College for the past 7 years. He is a PhD (Electrical Engineering) holder with a vast teaching and
administrative experience of over 22 years in the educational sector. His impeccable and
proven track record of an able visionary administration has enabled him to excel in his
leadership role; and helped in establishing CMREC to a position of pre-eminence within a few
years, excelling in various engineering disciplines. He played a pivotal role in the college for the
accreditation processes of UGC Autonomous Conferment, National Board of Accreditation
(NBA) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), ISO and 2f/12B
Certifications. Over the years, under his able vision, guidance, professional integrity, vibrant
competence and energy have helped the CMR Engineering College to become as one of the
top Engineering Colleges in the state of Telangana. He always believes in “5Ps” which includes
Placements, Publications, Projects, Patents, and Participative administration for the
sustenance of an institution.

He has received 5 national awards for his tremendous service which include ‘Indira Gandhi
Seva Ratna’, ‘Shining Image of India’, ‘Bharath Gaurav’, Bharath Shiksha Ratan Award’, and
‘Rashtriya Vidya Saraswati Puraskar’ in the field of Education. He has published two National
and one International book, Reviewer for McGraw hill, RBA publications, Elsevier-3, IJERT etc.
Presently under his supervision 8 Research Scholars are working for their Ph.D. He has

The department of Mechanical Engineering is a large and diversified filed. It has

Student Activities
Orientation program: The new batch of students every year is
inducted into the college by organizing an orientation
program to imbibe the culture and traditions apart from rules,
regulations and norms of the college. Students will be given
handbook that consists of the details of procedures, policies of
college with regard to discipline, examinations, attendance,
results etc. It also contains information on various facilities
provided by the college.

Freshers Day: The College organizes Fresher’s day where the
