Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering is one of the prestigious engineering colleges in

Karnataka, popularly known as VVCE. Established in 1997, VVCE has grown in leaps and
bounds since inception. VVCE is an Autonomous institute affiliated to Visvesvaraya
Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, approved by AICTE, New Delhi and recognized
by the Govt. of Karnataka. All the UG programs are accredited by NBA (2020-2023) and
the institute is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade.

VVCE is granted the autonomous status by the UGC from the current academic year
2020-2021.

VVCE offers seven Undergraduate programs; three PG programs and nine research centers
to pursue PhD programs, with a total student population of 3500.There are over 210
qualified and competent faculties out of which close to 30% are with PhD.

In view of our proud college being autonomous, we are in the process of revising our vision
and mission statements. As the role of every stakeholder is crucial and their ideas,
perspectives and opinions are important in the development of our institute, we kindly
request you to go through these statements and provide your valuable suggestions latest
by November 9, 2020.

Below is the new Vision and Mission Statements.

VISION

To be globally recognized in Engineering and Management education and research through


noteworthy achievements and significant contribution to the society.

MISSION

 Produce competent graduates through best in class infrastructure and committed


staff.
 Serve the industrial community through research and innovation.
 Help the society through Institutional Social Responsibility.
