Oil Filter Housing and Fuel Filter Housing May 2008

This service bulletin applies to 2300, 2500 and 2800 Series engines.
During routine servcing of the fuel filter, Special Lubricant (FGW part number 10000-01889) must be applied to
the threads of the fuel filter housing.
If a degreasing agent has been used to clean the oil filter housing or fuel filter housing, Special Lubricant
(FGW part number 10000-01889) must be applied to the threads of the oil filter housing or fuel filter housing
before the housing is installed.
Caution: Failure to apply the Special Lubricant to the threads of the filter housings may result in damage to
the threads.
