For explanation: It is differentiated between welded casing connections and auxiliary process piping. Welded casing connections are short pipes which are welded together with a flange to the casing (with
or without buffering, depending on the casing material). These pipes belong to the casing and don’t need to be tested by RT (see also comment d in table 14 out of ISO 13709:2009). Connected piping to
these connections on the other hand are ”auxiliary process piping” and have to be tested by RT accordingly.
