LESSON PLAN-parallelism

This document provides a lesson plan on teaching parallelism in grammar. The 45-minute lesson aims to help students (1) define parallelism, (2) correct sentences with faulty parallelism, and (3) construct parallel sentences. It reviews subject-verb agreement rules and motivates students with an example of faulty parallelism. Students will work in groups to correct sentences with parallelism errors and construct their own parallel sentences. To conclude, their understanding will be assessed through an activity constructing parallel sentences and finding examples in literature.
