Historical Text Issues in Myanmar

Annotation This paper was read 24th December 1967 before the Kanthaseinlai (Green Lake) Group. It describes problems in the
Ayedawbon texts which were historical accounts of a royal campaign. Some texts' were not clear and some were not
actual historical accounts of royal campaigns. Five Ayedawbon texts are important in Myanmar history: -
