Step by Step Procedure for Common Grading

1. Keep all the Award Sheets for the common subject in a folder [after filling the
marks, subject name, . . . ]

2. Copy and paste common-grading-v1505.xlsx in the same folder from

\\10.2.1.157\Shareddocs\NEW AWARD SHEETS FROM MAR 2015

3. Open the common-grading-v1505.xlsx and fill the following

(a) Subject Name


(b) Program - B. Tech/M. Tech/ BBA/ MBA
(c) Enter the list of branches - side by side in Line 34 (Once you enter the branch
name you will get the sheet name as composite1, composite2, . . . )

4. Make a copy of all awardsheets in the same folder [except common-grading-v1505.xlsx]

5. Rename the duplicate files as per the sheet name in common-grading-v1505.xlsx


[composite1, composite2, etc.]

6. After renaming, open all the files [composite1, composite2, . . . ]

7. Fill the range, in common-grading-v1505.xlsx. You will get the graph and C-CGPA

8. Once you finalize the range, do the following in the individual awardsheets (Origi-
nal)

(a) Type “YES” against common paper


(b) Max. marks for end and total [take from common-grading-v1505.xlsx]
(c) Copy and paste the range [take from common-grading-v1505.xlsx]
