Explain the procedure to be followed in preparing the records of tenancy rights by the Records Officer under the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Lands Record of Tenancy Rights Act 1969. 5. Under what circumstance a landlord can seek to evict a cultivating tenant under the Tamil Nadu Cultivating tenants Protection Act, 1955. The wife has 30 standard acres of stridhana land and the husband has 30 standard acres of land. What is the ceiling of land under the Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1961? Is there any surplus land? . “A” lets out the agricultural lends to “B” and “B” in turn sublets the agricultural lands with the knowledge of “A to “C”. “C” is cultivating the lands by contributing his physical labour. “B” defaulted in payment of rent. “A” takes action for recovery of land for willful default in payment of rent against “B”. “C” seeks protection under the Tamil Nadu Cultivating Tenants Protection Act 1955. Decide. . The Government proposed to acquire land for the purpose of building a travelers bungalow. Is this a public purpose? The amount of compensation fixed by the Act of 2013 was much less than the market value of the land. The Act challenged on the ground of compensation provided under this Act of 2013 is illusory. Decide. 13. In a case, the Revenue Court passed a preliminary order directing the cultivating tenant to deposit a certain sum of amount together with cost on or before the stipulated time. At the time of passing of the order, the tenant was absent and no payment was made within the stipulated time. He approached you for legal advice on the issue. Advise him. 14.
