table, 4 different activities 15-20 min. each

Resources: For large group; Ppt- flashcards-videos
For teacher led group; 4 chairs- flashcards
Small Groups; cut and paste sheets- glue- muffin tins –
flashcards-letters- play-doh
Key vocabulary: Hen- Pen- Ten- Men
Key assessment Can you count from 1 to 10?
questions: Do you like eating hens?

Lesson Plan
Activities:
Large Group; After the circle morning, ask the children if the remember the previous
family,write some words on the board and encourage them to read them, start acting the
actions of letter e and n.Let the children to guess the sound .Take their answers. Stick the
letters on the board. Start acting the first sound of each word. In each time they guess the
sound correctly they build a word, show them a photo of the word (you can use ppt ).
Continue till you finish the rest of them. Show them a video related to the topic to stick the
words in their mind.
Teacher Led Group; Set 4 chairs in the middle of the class, put 4 flashcards under the chairs.
Invite 4 children to wear the masks, play the music, ask them to run around the chairs, pause
the music, they have to sit and take the flashcards and read them.
Small Groups; Set up tables for independent, cooperative activities for groups of 6-7 children
1st group; Give the children cut and paste sheets , ask them to stick the picture in front of its
word
2nd group; Give the children muffin tins and flashcards, ask them to build the words using the
letters
3rd group;. Give the children some flashcards, ask them to build the words using the play-doh
Review, Reinforcement, and Assessment:
Ask the children to do their exercise in their English booklet
