Program Title: SCHOOL IN-SERVICE TRAINING ON RENEWING COMMITMENT


AND IMPROVEMENT OF DELIVERY OF QUALITY BASIC EDUCATION

Project Location: DON SERVILLANO PLATON MEMORIAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

Goal: Capacitate teachers with knowledge, skills and attitudes in the content knowledge and
pedagogy, contextualization of learning materials, strategies in the delivery of learning modalities
and authentic assessment of learning, community partnership engagement, and professional
development.
PROGRAM EVALUATION

Mode of Evaluation: Online via Google Form


A. PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

The chart reveals that around 53% of the evaluation respondents agree that the training
program was delivered in accordance with the plan of the professional learning activity.

Likewise, 53 % of the respondents consider that the training program was managed efficiently.
Moreover, 58 % of the respondents strongly agree that the training program was well-
structured.

Reflection/recommendation: Future training programs should provide self-directed PD


opportunities for target participants.

B. ATTAINMENT OF OBJECTIVES

The preceding chart shows that 52.3% of the respondents strongly agree and 42.3% agree that
the program objectives were clearly presented during the sessions, 46.15 % strongly agree and
46.15 % agree that the training objectives were attained.
C. DELIVERY OF THE CONTENT

Majority of the evaluation respondents strongly agree that: Program content was appropriate to
participants’ role and responsibilities, Content delivered was based on authoritative and reliable
sources, Session activities were effective in generating learning, Adult learning methodologies
(andragogy) were used, Program followed a logical order / structure, and Contribution of all
trainees was encouraged.

A. Aspects of the Training Program that were Most Useful or Valuable:


1. The Water , sanitation, and health program in school Brigada Eskwela Plus
2. Different strategies ( New Normal teaching strategies)
3. RBI Script writing
4. Localization and Contextualization
5. Curriculum review, updates and researches
6. Project Proposals, Innovations, Teaching Strategies that we can use in the limited
Face to face
7. Action Research presentation of Teachers
8. Refreshing our knowledge of important school guidelines and memorandum
9. The discussion on OPR, since everyone in the academe are involved and enjoined
to participate and perform better for the attainment of the school goals. In terms
of teaching, the discussion on localization and contextualization were also useful
since it benefits everyone and could be an aid for the implementation of the BP of
the school.

B. Most significant learning from the INSET:


1. The different materials or takeaways that we can use in the limited face to face
classes.
2. By transforming the ideas gained from the training into something that will create
impact to the school-community.
3. The process of integrating localized learning material in the teaching learning
process
4. How to make contextualize and localize materials.
5. Collaboration of teachers and the topics being discussed were relevant to the
needs of teachers development.
6. patience, openness and always willing and determined to learn

9. Guidelines in d preparation of project innovations, activity proposal, &
procurement

C.  Impact of Learning to the Work as a teacher or administrative personnel:


1. The INSET had helped to renew my commitment as a teacher for professsional
growth and for providing quality education
2. By giving us an oppurtunity to work a certain project that will help the students as
well as the teachers when it comes to teaching and learning process.
3. We can apply in our teaching career and personal life.
4. Be always ready to accept new challenges and ideas that is useful for me as a
teacher
5. Motivated to do my work
6. This INSET equips me with the knowledge and skills to address issues in the
teaching-learning environment
7. Application to better improved teaching
8. It will guide me to be more effective and efficient teacher

D. TOP SUGGESTIONS OR COMMENTS TO IMPROVE TRAINING PROGRAMS:


1. By making an action of it. (to put all concepts into actual implementation)
2. To add more topics that will enhance teachers ability in the teaching profession.
3. Sana yung per discussion ilimit yung time kasi pag masyado mahaba,
nakakaantok..
4. I suggest to conduct team building activities outside the school premises, to
change the yearly routine of the teacher and to build camaraderie to each and
every one.
5. To invite speakers and talk most relevant topics regarding teaching learning
programs.
6. To maximize participation/engagement of attendees, there should be a workshop
after each topic.
7. Must start and end as planned
8. Make it on time to start the program.
9. Do some actions on the teachers leaving the venue while the program is on-going.
10. It is better to invite one or two resource speakers outside the school so that the
participants are more attentive.
11. Add proposals that will benefit all
12. Requiring the participants to submit their outputs for evaluation.
13. Allocate time for each speakers to not exceed or cover the time of the other
speakers. Make sure that the topics are discussed objectively not subjectively---
audience become uninterested if the speaker speak too much and usually goes
beyond the premise of the training theme.
14. Strictly Monitor teachers attendance during the training..
15. include topic on Personality development Invite speakers to discuss financial
literacy but not Lending institition personnel or insurance company personnel..
16. Have a team building activity or recreation activity sometimes to unwind
