To the Parent/Guardian
Dear Sir/Madam,
RE: FACILITATING YOUR CHILD TO ATTEND THE ANNUAL STUDENT LEADERS NATIONAL CONVENTION
Kenya Student’s Christian Fellowship (KSCF) is a student movement and an umbrella organization of the Christian
Unions in high schools and certificate colleges in Kenya. We aim at “ leading students in secondary schools and
colleges in Kenya to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, mature in him and equip them for effective service.”
Since its inception we have endeavored in supporting and molding the character of students. In 2011 we signed an
MOU with the Ministry of Education acknowledging our contribution in the moral growth of students.
KSCF National Conventions have remained to be the epicenter for spiritual formation and character development for
our students. We achieve this through training and equipping students to positively impact their peers. The 2022
KSCF National Convention will be held at ……………………………………from 4th to 9th April, 2022. Your son/daughter is
invited to attend. The convention fee is Kshs ……………… which will cater for accommodation, food and convention
booklets. (Kindly note that this fee does not include transport charges).
The following topics will be handled among others:
1. A student as an agent of change
2. Personal devotion and quiet time
3. The students and the digital world
The convention will also focus on training students to positively influence their peers under the program dubbed
Peer to Peer Ministry (P2P). P2P is based on four pillars as follows:
1. Bible Study: To edify students to grow and stand firm in their Christian faith and equip them to train others to
carry out Bible Study.
2. Evangelism and Discipleship: To nurture students to follow Christ and disciple others.
3. Leadership Development: To equip and empower students to influence the school, church and society.
4. Christian Peer Counseling: To prepare students to be able to carry out counseling among their peers positively.
We therefore request you to support your Child to attend this life transforming event. Your support will help nurture
the conviction and character of the students that will prepare them to lead transformation in their schools, family,
church and society at large. The deadline for registration for convention delegates will be on 22 nd March, 2022.
Kindly send your registration fee to…………………………...
Do not hesitate to contact the Convention Director through Mobile no………………….. for any enquiries.
Thanks in advance.
Yours faithfully,
