Direct Benefit Transfer for LPG (IN 2013): The primary aim of this Direct
Benefit Transfer program is to bring transparency and terminate pilferage from
distribution of funds sponsored by Central Government of India. In DBT (Direct
Benefit Transfer for LPG), benefit or subsidy will be directly transferred to the
citizens living below poverty line.. The scheme was launched by the Union
Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas in 291 districts.

Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan (IN 2013): The mission aims to make India an open
defecation free country in Five Years. Eradication of Manual
Scavenging. Modern and Scientific Municipal Solid Waste Management. To
effect behavioral change regarding healthy sanitation practices. Generate
awareness about sanitation and its linkage with public health.
New name: Swachh Bharat Mission
National Optical Fibre Network (IN 2011): BharatNet Scheme has been
launched by the government of India under the Digital India program in order
to provide high-speed digital connectivity of the internet in rural areas at a
very affordable price.Through this scheme, the citizens in rural and remote
areas will get broadband services at affordable prices.

National Skill Development Program (In 2010): The main objective of the Skill
India programme is to provide adequate training in market-relevant skills to
over 40 crore youth. It also aims to create opportunities for the development of
talent within the country and improve the overall scope and space for
underdeveloped sectors.
