By connecting the new building and eliminating on lot systems that have the potential to contaminate both surface lwater and ground water in the Township the direct impact of receiving this grant is to improve both current and future water quality and allows for future development of the Regional Commercial Office Zone. This grant will allow the Township to advance its schedule and begin construction as noted in the project schedule and key milestone dates. The existing public system will be extended to the north side of Interstate 81 by the way of a pump station and force main lunder the interstate, with a gravity system that will be connected into the proposed pump station, How do you plan to use the funds? Funding willbe utilized for the planning and construction of the proposed public sanitary sewer extension. The Authority would have the option to put a special sewer rate district in place for the area which could result in tapping fees to to $36,700 for 9 million spread lout over 245 homes.
