Vision:

Program Objectives:

The Education Program envisions the integral development of the students to become a teacher adequately equipped with the knowledge in the
faith, in the arts, and science and technology; skills and values which they would eventually transmit for the transformation or personal life and the
society.
Specifically it aims to:
1. Offer the students well-programmed curriculum and activities,
2. Enhance professional competence of faculty and strenghten their motivation for greater service, and
3. Participate in the community buliding particularly in the educational dimensions.
Course Description:
The course introduces prospective secondary and elementary teachers knowledge and understanding of the subject area which includes: foundational
disciplines, structural components, and models of teaching and assessment strategies. This will provide the students with the theoretical and underpinnings in
teaching and develop concepts, skills, attitudes and values related to the subject area.
General Objectives:
At the of the topic, the students are expected to,
1. Explain the nature of the subject area and how it is learned and taught.
2. Develop mastery in teaching in different subject areas be developing and internalizing attitudes and values applicable to the area.
3. Demonstrate skills related to appropriate selection of objectives, methodologies and strategies, instructional materials, modes of delivery.
