The employee who ward is studying in the first year of any of the above mentioned course may submit the application for ‘ward of schship In Proformas! For renewal of scholarship in the second and subsequent years of Medical course the student must have secured 55% marks in the previous year annual examination. For all other courses ( Technical/Non-Technical/ll courses/ Diploma courses) the student must have secured minimum ‘65% marks in the grovious year annuat examination. If the ward falls in any subject/paper bust has been promoted to next year of the course, the scholarship may be renewed provided that he/she hhas secured an aggregate of 85% Marks { Medical courses) or 65% {other than Medical Courses) in alt the subjects including the subject in which the ward has not got the qualifying marks, A relaxation of 10% in the minimum marks in renewal cases is also admissible to students belong to SC/ST/ORC Categories/Gisls child and physically handicappled students. Incases where both husband and wife are employed in BSNL, the gay of the one who is getting higher pay will be taken into account to decide the eligibility. The pay of the spouse working some other Central Govt, Office, State Govt. office, Banks, Autonomous body ete will nat be taken in account for awarding the scholarship, ‘The spouse of a BSNL employee undergoing any caurse of study as indicated above would be eligible for the scholarship for technical/non-technical study provided that he/she is wholly dependent on the employee and has no other source of income, ‘An employee can apply far scholarship to not more than two of his/her children in a year. The Amount of Scholarship Award will be credit 1o the official's Bank account through RTGS only.
