TASK1
Going by the dictionary, beauty is anything that appeals
to the aesthetic senses, especially the sight. That is one
major part of how I would define beauty as well. I feel
Question number 1 that beauty is anything that has a pleasing effect on
people. So, pretty much everything can look beautiful-
the girl with the perfect figure, a dog’s eyes, a smile on
your beloved’s face, kindness, resilience, sunrise, sunset,
the wrinkles on my dad's face and so on.
The beauty about the term beauty itself is that it's highly
relative. It could change from person to person and might
differ with time. There's a good chance that my
perception of beauty might also undergo a sea change as
I evolve.
I do not go by the idea that only ‘inner beauty’ is real
beauty. There's nothing wrong in admiring something
that is pleasing to the eyes.
That does not, however, justify the discrimination meted
out to people based on looks. My argument is that if
people can be praised for their talent which is inborn,
then there should absolutely be no qualms about
admiring a person for his/her looks, which also comes
with birth.
To sum it up, beauty to me is both ‘inner’ and ‘outer’
beauty since both have the potential of pleasing my
` Question number 2
One person I consider beautiful is my older cousin Gabrielle
Leron, I consider her beautiful because she both has inner
and outer beauty. Ate Gege has one of the most beautiful
smiles that I have ever seen a smile that once you see you
will never be able to forget about it. She is kind to everyone;
she also has a joyful personality which makes her more
lovable and beautiful.
The part of my body that I consider beautiful is my
hair, because a lot of people love how curly my hair
is and it also complements my laid-back personality.
I also consider my eyes as beautiful because it
shows how I feel and I just love how lifeless my eyes
look like
