System Requirements

Supported operating system: Microsoft Windows XP/2003


Server/Vista/7. The Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 is
required to run this program. If you are using Windows XP or
Windows Server 2003, you have to install it manually.

Install .NET Framework 2.0

.NET Framework 2.0 is included with Windows Vista and


Windows 7, if your computer is running these systems, just
skip this step please.
If you are using Windows XP or Server 2003, you have to
install it manually before installing the PC suite. You can
download it from our website:

Or from Microsoft’s website:
http://www.microsoft.com
Run "NetFx20SP2_x86.exe" then just keep clicking the "Next"
button until the installation is complete.

Install the PC Suite

Double-click the file “setup.exe” to install the PC Suite.

After setup is complete, you will then get 3 icons on your


desktop, and a new item in the program list of the start menu.

Install the USBKEY driver

Find the A3 Super PC Suite in your program list, double-click


the item "USB Driver Installer" to install the USBKEY driver.

Serial Port Number

Once the installation is done, insert the key into the USB port
of your computer, and wait for the system to install the proper
driver for it.

Remember the port number "COM3" in the dialog above, it


need to be used in the next steps.
The number may be different on your computer, you can also
find it in the Device Manager. To open the Device Manager, on
the desktop, right-click on My Computer and click Properties
or open the Control Panel and double-click the System icon.

You can find the port number in the Ports (COM & LPT) list,
the device name is "Silicon Labs CP210x USB to USART
Bridge (COM X)".

2) Write settings into the controller

Firmware Upgrade

Insert the USBKEY into the computer. Don't connect the


device to the key now. If the device has been mounted on
the aircraft, don't turn the power on now ! Double-click the
icon "A3 Super Firmware Updater" to run the tool.

When the message "Detecting ... Please connect the device


now!” is shown in the status bar, plug the device into the
USBKEY using the data cable, the upgrade process will start
automatically when the device is connected!

Select the correct port number in the drop-down box next to the
"Select Port". If the port is not found in the list, try to click the
button to refresh the list.
