1.

We need to study the course Understanding the Self because self-awareness is the
cornerstone for change, progress, and all of the personal development that we aim for. When
we have a solid awareness of ourselves, we can comprehend our reactions, discern the
reactions of others, and identify areas where we may use some positive improvement. Being
self-aware may help you plan your development and make the best job options for you. A
person's self-concept is their perception of who they are and what distinguishes them. The
physical self, the social self, the competent self, and the inner, or psychological, self are all
examples of this. Meanwhile, recognizing what motivates a person's behaviour is the goal of
self-awareness.

2. We understand ourselves better when we are more self-aware. We may then pinpoint the
adjustments we wish to make and recognize our own strengths so that we can build on them.
Self-awareness is frequently the initial step in goal setting. This involves confessing when you
don't know the answer and accepting responsibility for mistakes. It is important to understand
what you want from your career, what brings you fulfilment and the kind of situations or work
cultures in which you will succeed. Awareness other people is easier when you have a better
understanding of your own thought and behaviour patterns. Better personal and professional
connections are facilitated by this ability to empathize. We understand ourselves better when
we are more self-aware.

3. When you are true to yourself, you are entirely honest with yourself about how you feel,
what you genuinely value, and what you seek. It also entails articulating your emotions fully,
both to yourself and to others, and allowing your truth to flow through you and into the world.
Being true to oneself entails seeing and feeling things as they are. Sometimes we want
something to happen and get preoccupied with the predicted outcome.
